My name is Marc Laurent Plaskett, and I grew up in Florida, where my passion for acting took root at an early age.
In January 2021, I moved to New York City to pursue my dream of becoming a professional actor by studying Theatre Performance at Fordham University.
At Fordham, I honed my craft through rigorous training in Linklater, Fitzmaurice, and Hagen techniques, complemented by movement disciplines such as Alexander, Feldenkrais, and Butoh. These methods have deeply influenced my approach to performance, allowing me to bring depth and authenticity to every role I take on.
While much of my experience has been shaped by Fordham's main stage productions, I’ve also ventured into student films and independent plays.
Currently, while continuing to audition and pursue acting opportunities, I am expanding my expertise by pursuing a Master of Science in Media Management at Fordham's Gabelli School of Business. I am also a member of the Media and Entertainment Board of Operations, and a communications intern in Fordham's Theatre Department.
Every step I take in my academic and artistic journey is driven by a deep commitment to creativity, growth, and the pursuit of excellence in all aspects of my craft and career.
